Sleeping Warrior Special Economic Zone (SEZ) -Aerial Mapping
Project Overview
This project involved the use of high-resolution aerial mapping and drone survey technology to capture geospatial data for the Sleeping Warrior Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The mapping process provided detailed topographic imagery, orthophotos, and terrain models to support land-use planning, infrastructure development, and environmental assessments within the SEZ.
Technology and Methodology
-
UAVs equipped with high-resolution cameras and GPS/IMU systems
-
Ground Control Points (GCPs) for enhanced geospatial accuracy
-
Post-processing using professional photogrammetry software
-
Compliance with KCAA regulations and industry best practices
Objectives:
-
Generate accurate aerial imagery and terrain models.
-
Support planning and development of infrastructure within the SEZ.
-
